About Dr. Nehal Mehta

As a MBBS graduate from the famous Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College & Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, and a MD in Medical Microbiology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai, it comes as no surprise that Dr. Nehal Mehta was a hardworking student with a gift of perfection. She also secured DNB in Medical Microbiology, from the Delhi based National Board of Examination (NBE). As a medical student, she was an ardent reader of medical literature, and as a MD student she went on to make her own literature, with six publications in national and international medical journals, and counting. With a keen interest for infection control, she did a certificate course in Hospital Infection Control from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

She is particularly passionate about the rising global menace of anti-microbial resistance and has been instrumental in conducting local CMEs for the same. By adding the latest technological advancements to the field of Medical Microbiology, Dr. Nehal Mehta, wishes to catch these infections early in their tracks, the key to controlling and defeating all infections, as we very well know!
