He completed his MBBS from the historic Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, and went on to do his MD in Pathology from the prestigious, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Even during his graduation, he showed a keen interest in research, and completed two ICMR Short term Studentship (STS) programs during MBBS. One of these studies were presented at an International conference in London. Even before he finished his MBBS, he had two medical publications to his name. The concepts of quality and technology in Pathology were instilled in him during his four years at Tata Memorial Hospital. This concept of mixing technology with Pathology led him to be an editor for a digital pathology website, which is currently well acclaimed in the field of digital medicine and education.
